South African version of BS 15000 launched

Standards South Africa (STANSA), a division of the South African Standards Bureau (SABS) have announced the launch of their national version of BS 15000. This is known as SANS 15000-1 (2003-11-07), Part 1 of the standard - the specification, and SANS 15000-2 (2003-11-07), part 2 - the code of practice. This follows on from the successful launch of the Australian standard AS 8018 last year. The momentum is accelerating, next month will see voting day within the International Standards Organization (ISO) regarding BS 15000 becoming an international standard (ISO 20000).
