A 'rigorous' snapshot of your service management capability against the standard

Purpose

To assess your Service Management capability against the ISO/IEC 20000 standard to identify :

  • Requirements that are met (conformant), including :
    • Reasons for conformance
    • Cross-reference of underpinning evidence to the requirement
    • Areas of concern
      • Something that if it is not addressed may result in the requirement not being satisfied
      • Service Improvement but not an ISO/IEC 20000 requirement
  • Requirements that are not met (non-conformant), including :
    • Reasons for non-conformance
    • Recommendation for addressing the gap
  • General recommendations regarding the Service Management operation

Approach

The assessment takes places via a combination of on-site visits, information gathering, off-site evidence reviews, clarification and elaboration interviews culminating in a final comprehensive assessment report.
