A 'rigorous' snapshot of your service management capability against the standard
Purpose
To assess your Service Management capability against the ISO/IEC 20000 standard to identify :
- Requirements that are met (conformant), including :
- Reasons for conformance
- Cross-reference of underpinning evidence to the requirement
- Areas of concern
- Something that if it is not addressed may result in the requirement not being satisfied
- Service Improvement but not an ISO/IEC 20000 requirement
- Requirements that are not met (non-conformant), including :
- Reasons for non-conformance
- Recommendation for addressing the gap
- General recommendations regarding the Service Management operation
Approach
The assessment takes places via a combination of on-site visits, information gathering, off-site evidence reviews, clarification and elaboration interviews culminating in a final comprehensive assessment report.
